McIntosh Heavy Logistics is the road transport division solely devoted to
providing a high quality, heavy haulage service for the movement of heavy
or abnormal loads, not only in the Aberdeen and local area but also throughout
the United Kingdom. This is successfully achieved by utilising the large
fleet of some of the most modern, state-of-the-art Scania tractor units
and Nooteboom multi rear-wheel-steer low loaders.
McIntosh
Heavy Logistics operate under STGO Categories 1, 2 & 3. Drivers are
fully trained to ADR regulations on hazardous goods movements and are supplied
with personal protective equipment as standard issue.
The
operations staff are on duty seven days per week, directly controlling all
customer and driver communications from one central headquarters. They are
CPC qualified and have a wealth of industry experience to call upon.
All vehicles are equipped with mobile communication equipment allowing continuous
monitoring of vehicle status at all times.

suitably specified and designed to have a working bed width of 9’6”
(2.9m) extendible to 11’6” (3.5m) on their low bed to safely
carry loads.
